All Aboard!

So, I've started a blog.  I thought, what better way to keep family and friends up to date with the latest happenings aboard our Transient Xpress!  Not only does the Air Force move us every few years, but our daily lives are speeding down the tracks so fast I can't remember who I've told what to.  I suppose this is also a way for me to keep track.  Afterall, the only constant thing in our life is change, as sure as the leaves on the trees.I took this picture a week ago and already most of the leaves have fallen.  Another North Dakota winter is fast approaching and we're savoring every burst of color we have left.  I've notice that ND's fall foliage doesn't include much color, mostly just yellows and greens.  I miss the oranges and reds that were so abundant in Michigan (at least from what I remember).  Imagine my delight to find this little fireball in my backyard!  I hope to catch a few more colorful shots this weekend before the cold winter winds blow in and usher out the last of the leaves.
