Happy December?

Already?  December?  Clearly the calendar is wrong.  It can't be December 1st because that means I posted only one measly entry in November.  Oh wait.  That's true!

I don't even know where to begin, except to say that so much happened last month I rarely found myself with a free moment to blog.  And when I did find a free moment it generally was used for sleeping or eating, though neither was pleasurable.  Strictly necessary.  Still, that feels like a cop-out.  The point of keeping a blog was to keep family and friends updated with my life.  If I don't do that, what's the point of continuing the thing only to do a half-assed job of it and feel guilty about it?  I think I get too wrapped up in doing a post "justice" and really explaining the details when I could just spew the information and let you make sense of it on your own sometimes.  After all, that's often how face-to-face communication works anyway, right?  Thing is, I enjoy writing when I make the time for it.  That's always been my problem...making the time for it.

Clearly my approach to this sucks.  I'm going to be thinking long and hard at how I can do this better because I DO enjoy it and think it can be a helpful tool for frequent movers like us to keep others in the loop.  Until then, I will dedicate the next few posts to catching you up on November's happenings:
